2021 Men’s Singles Grand Slam Prophecy – Tennis Sports

The 2021 tennis season is just around the corner. So it’s time to make predictions for the four Grand Slams of the year. Will Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal dominate, or will outsiders be able to make a breakthrough for Dominic Thiem in 2020?

Australian Open – Dominic Thiem.

The Australian Open should be an absolutely ideal setting for Thiem. A hard coat that is relatively slow and bounces off. By 2020, Austrians were better at hard coats than clay. His hard court performance, of course, included a Grand Slam breakthrough at the US Open. He finally got one of the biggest titles in tennis. Like the 2020 Australian Open final (a match against Novak Djokovic, who lost five sets), the third place in the world is not nervous. I should definitely have won). No one works as hard as Thiem, so he’s always ready to go to Melbourne right after the productive off-season. It’s hard to bet on Djokovic’s down-under (certainly the boundaries are off), but Thiem approached last year and he’s getting better and better.

Runner-up (on the other side) – Novak Djokovic

French Open – Rafael Nadal.

It’s difficult to bet on Djokovic at AO. It is impossible to bet on Nadal with FO. You can’t do that until the Spaniards actually lose another match at the French Open. He had a reason to lose there in 2020, with little preparation for the clay court ahead of the rescheduled major, and more notably, he was at a disadvantage in the fall rather than the end of spring. Nonetheless, Nadal won the 13th French Open title and closed Djokovic with the French Open in the final. Not only did his advantage win his record 20th slam title, but he also sent a message to other fields that he would remain invincible at the Terre Bacheux in Paris for at least another year. It’s only a matter of time before Thiem gets the Coupe de Musketer, but it won’t be in 2021.

Runner-up (on the other side) – Dominic Thiem

Wimbledon – Novak Djokovic.

For now, it’s hard to see Djokovic losing in London. Roger Federer is too big for a 2021 question mark. Andy Murray is no longer a threat to winning slums. Nadal hasn’t won Wimbledon since 2013, the other challengers aren’t at their best (Tiem, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev), and Stefanos Tsitsipas has never been to a major final. Is there anyone who beats the best in the world with SW19? I doubt it. Djokovic is clearly too good to spend a year without winning a single slam and should win at least once in 2021 (he won once in 2020, Wimbledon cancellation and US Open You could have won three times without the default). One of the notable candidates is Milos Raonic. Milos Raonic was impressed with the healthy 2020 all-court game. The 2016 Wimbledon runner-up is unlikely to get hurt throughout the season, but if he is healthy during the summer, he can make a serious noise on the grass.

Runner-up (on the other side) – Milos Raonic

US Open – Daniil Medvedev.

Medevedev was one of the best players in the world in late 2019 and one of the best players in the world by the end of 2020. One of the tournaments he played well each year was the US Open. Before reaching the semi-finals this fall, he finished second to Nadal with five sets of thrillers (losing to final champion Thiem). Undefeated through the Paris Masters and the Nitto ATP Finals, the fourth-placed Russian is fully set up for 2021 success. Masters of the Masters 1000, Medevedev will take the next step in this year’s championship. His career by joining Thiem as a new Grand Slam champion. Tsitsipas has a similar design, but Medvedev is currently approaching to achieve it.

Runner-up (on the other side) – Stefanos Tsitsipas

In three tournaments (rather than the usual four), there were three different Grand Slam champions in 2020. Can I go 4 to 4 in 2021? It will be a very interesting season. That is exactly what we owe after the trials and hardships of the infamous year of 2020. Djokovic and Nadal remain the apparent cream of the crop, but the number of young stars is clearly increasing — a rise that can last very well over the next 11 months.
