1. Steam therapy

3. Maintain hydration levels

If you do not increase your dose to supplement your fluid intake, dehydration can occur.

If you have a cold or flu, drink at least 2 liters of water daily. Drink water or other healthy fluids whenever you are thirsty. Use your thirst as a guide to when and how much to drink. If you are caring for a child over 1 year old, try to drink at least 90-120 ml of water per hour. Infants under the age of 1 need at least 30-60 ml of water per hour. Pregnant women should increase their fluid intake up to 2.50 L per day.
Try these herbal formulas:
- Herb tea: Add a pinch of cinnamon, sacred basil leaves, crushed ginger and crushed peppercorn to a glass of boiling water. Add honey and drink while hot.
- Carom seed injection water: Bring Carom Seed to a boil in water. Strain the jaggery powder and add. This helps relieve coughing and stuffy nose.
- Garlic formulation: Mix 2-4 cloves, chopped garlic and 3-4 slices of fresh ginger with 1 cup of water. Cover and soak for at least 20 minutes. Add honey and lemon and taste. Please drink with lukewarm water.
- Licorice tea: Boil 1/2 inch licorice + 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger and 1/2 spoon of cinnamon in 1 cup of water for 10 minutes. I’m nervous and drink.

Also, if you go to the office when you are sick, the stress of work may make your body less susceptible to illness.
Do not exercise excessively. If you have energy, mild symptoms such as a runny nose, or no fever for more than 48 hours, you can train for light intensity.
- Avoid exercise: If you have chronic health concerns such as fever, body aches, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, or asthma / heart disease.
- The best exercise: Walking, yoga, or light jogging. All of these stimulate deep breathing and help open blocked passages.
- Worst exercise: Endurance run, gym machine, weightlifting.
