95% of corn harvested in Kansas, 85% of soybeans

Corn harvesting is almost complete across Kansas, and soybeans are well behind normal pace.

According to the latest crop progress report, 95% of corn has completed soybean harvest and 85% has completed, 9% behind last year’s average.

The condition of winter wheat was evaluated as good from good at 64%, and 86% of the crops appeared.

83% of the great millet was harvested.

The condition of the cotton is estimated to be 51% good and 30% of the crops.

The harvested sunflowers were 89%, the same as last year.

Pasture and range conditions are 40% good to good.
