I love the 24/7 championship and the concept behind the title, literally all day, every day, forever. It can be funny and sometimes hilarious moments.
I don’t know why it has to come at the expense of being taken seriously.
It has long been a flaw in the logic of the championship itself — it’s a big joke that everyone knows is a joke, yet there’s a constant war over it, all of these while traveling far and wide. There is a group of wrestlers who come up with wacky plans to win on their own. If it’s such a joke, why are they doing this?
I remember how I wondered what the hell Was Adam Pearce’s problem when he was asking wrestlers like Drew Gulak and Ricochet to win the match to win the Royal Rumble, rather than just proclaiming like everyone else? And how he Explained his reasoning By saying that some wrestlers are simply given the ability to declare by management — by the way, isn’t it him? — Isn’t there anyone else?
There was an argument claiming that it was about a wrestler who had a proper resume to be recognized for his ability to declare. If so, why is R-Truth, the current champion of promotion, not qualified?
Because he’s a joke, he has a title that’s a joke, and all this is one big joke. I won’t be quiet about this!
