Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is Metroidvania, acclaimed by developer ArtPlay, and is currently available on the Google Play Store for as high as $ 9.99.
Published on mobile by NetEase, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a traditional metroidvania that is very reminiscent of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. The author, Koji Igarashi, is a graduate of Konami who worked on the Castlevania Dracula series.
In gameplay, side-scroll through Gothic castles, gradually opening new areas as you gain new powers and abilities.
There are 120 minions to slaughter and several bosses. When you kill bosses, you take their abilities, which allows you to access more bosses in a blood-soaked circle of fun monster murders.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has 107 weapons, 23 skills and various combos.
Many consider Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to be the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series. That should be a good reason to intrigue you-although the $ 9.99 price tag is definitely a hurdle.
You can now download Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from the Google Play Store.
