Michael Chiesa aimed at Mario Yamasaki after the controversial referee announced plans to return to mixed martial arts.

Soaring UFC welterweight candidate Michael Chiesa (18-4 MMA) has experienced Mario Yamasaki’s wrath in the past when the premature suspension resulted in a loss of technical submissions to Kevin Lee. Shortly after the controversial battle was over, “Maverick” blew up Yamazaki, suggesting that he “should be fired.”
Despite the controversial past Mario Yamasaki, he recently announced that he plans to return to MMA as a referee.
“I’m waiting for the pandemic to end, so I’ll start applying for the athletic committee again,” Yamazaki said. The news clearly didn’t go well with Michael Chiesa, who sent the following message to a veteran referee on Twitter:

“Maverick” was last seen in action nine days ago and won the dominant decision over Neil Magny on Fight Island. The victory improved his current streak to four in a row as he had previously defeated Carlos Condit, Diego Sanchez and Rafael Dos Anjos.
