Animal Crossing adds New Year items for a limited time

2021 officially begins, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is celebrating the beginning of the new year with another batch of limited-time items. Seven New Year-themed foods and decorations have been added to the Nook Shopping catalog, but they are only available for a few more days.

Until January 15th, Nook Shopping Service[季節]You can purchase the following items from the tab.

  • 2021 Celebration Arch-2,021 Bell
  • Olivier Salad-1,000 bells
  • Zodiac Ox Figurine-1,600 Bells
  • Kagamimoci-1,800 bell
  • Kadomatsu-2,580 bells
  • New Year’s Day-2,000 bells
  • Yut-1,300 bells

This is the second batch of New Year’s items added to the game. Last month, the Nuuk Shopping catalog listed four New Year’s foods until New Year’s Eve, but they are no longer available for purchase.

The holidays are over, but there are still some events I’m looking forward to in this month’s Animal Crossing. The first fishing tournament of the year will be held on Saturday, January 9th for players with islands in the Northern Hemisphere. Also, there are still a few days to make snowboys, catch snowflakes and learn festive DIY recipes.

Nintendo is rolling out another New Horizons content update later this month. The company hasn’t shared the details of the new patch yet, but it looks like the Festivale event will be added as part of the update. Nintendo will also introduce a line of Mario-themed furniture into the game in March of this year to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Series.
