Hellmann’s has set up its own Animal Crossing New Horizons Island to help players visit and raise money for charity FareShare.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons players looking to do philanthropy this Christmas season may want to check out the new island created by Hermanns UK.

Hellmann’s has partnered with the charity FareShare to help provide food to those in need of a nutritious diet. You can help by giving Hellmann’s a spoiled turnip.

In Animal Crossing, spoiled turnips are usually worthless, but Hermanns donates two servings of monetary value to FareShare for each turnip received.

To do this, you need to send a DM to contact Hellmann’s via your official Twitter account. You will then be given a time frame and dodo code to visit the island.

It takes 15 minutes to unload the spoiled turnips and take a tour of the island itself with some beautiful attractions like Santa’s Cave.

The island will only be open for tours from 2pm to 10pm from today to December 18th.

The official website also provides in-game ugly Christmas jumper codes and recipes that encourage the use of leftovers such as turkey and broccoli.

“At Hermanns, good food is everything. This Christmas, we share a variety of new recipes to help people run out of Christmas leftovers and not waste good food,” said Rachel, senior marketing manager. Chambers says.

“We are big fans of FareShare’s great work and aim to donate 50,000 meals to those in need of this Christmas through the new Hermann Island. Animal Crossing players are spoiled and raised. We hope you enjoy exploring the island’s attractions while dropping the turnips.
