Animal Crossing: New Horizons has lifted some of the restrictions imposed by its predecessors by allowing players to place items outdoors for the first time. But that wasn’t enough for one player who found a new and ingenious way to decorate the game by placing items in the middle of a large table.
Normally, when you place an item on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2×2 table, the item is placed in one of the corners instead of in the center. In the game mechanics, you can’t even push an item to the center. So in the case of a round table, the item is always hanging from the edge. One player (via GamesRadar) discovered that glitches could be used to circumvent that limitation.
The glitch in question is not that complicated. Players simply step off the ladder and land on an item placed on a flat surface. Doing so allows you to warp the object. In a Reddit post, u / _droppedmycroissant_ uses glitches to place mom’s candle set in the middle of a 2×2 round table. Don’t tell Nintendo. This glitch may last for some time.
If you’re looking for more items to decorate the island (or the center of the table), recently a new group of seasonal items has arrived at Animal Crossing: New Horizons. For the Dragon Boat Festival in China and the Dano Festival in South Korea, players can purchase both Festival Zonzi and Srich Witok from Nuuk Shopping.
Animal Crossing: Summer shells are beginning to appear in New Horizons. The blue shells washed off the beach can be used to create seasonal DIY recipes.
