Aquaman 2: Next DC Film Casts New Villain

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are making more waves in their cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Taped Yani Chao, Indya Moore, and Vincent Regan to star with Jason Momoa in the DC sequel.

In addition, Randall Park has been confirmed to replay his role as marine biologist Dr. Stephen Shin from the first film.

Zhao plays Stingray, the original character created for the movie. It is currently unknown where her loyalty is in the movie. Zhao has a huge catalog of TV credits in Portugal. The new Aquaman marks the debut of her English proficiency.

Moore plays Cursion, a character who originally appeared as a villain in Green Lantern. Originally a shark, Cursion gained intelligence and telepathic abilities after being confused with radiation. Moore was the main cast member of the FX series poses. He also played a role in Queen & Slim in 2019 and Escape Room: Tournament of Champions this year.

Regan was cast as Atlan. Atlantis is the ancient ruler of Atlantis who forced the kingdom to sink under the sea. The character was played by Graham McTavish, who briefly appeared in the first Aquaman. Regan is familiar with action blockbusters by appearing in movies such as the 300, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Clash of the Titans.
