The technology of self-driving company AI Drivers is being used by Singapore’s container port operator PSA Singapore to test two prime movers in the island states.

According to the company, its unique technology combines radar, LiDAR and cameras, retrofitting existing truck fleets to make it completely autonomous.

Aidrivers technology has two basic solutions: Autonomous Intelligent Operating System (AIOS) and Autonomous Intelligent Fleet Operator (AIFO).

AIOS features precision 3D mapping and localization for navigating mixed traffic in dynamic port environments.

The operating system combines 3D perception with situational awareness to enable autonomous driving.

AIFO provides operators with a live visualization platform and predictive mobility analysis for intelligent route planning, facilitating on-time operations and energy-efficient vehicle scheduling.

The news follows AI Drivers’ collaboration with US electric vehicle startup Hyzon Motors to jointly produce autonomous hydrogen-powered trucks that provide green technology to ports.
