Back 4 Blood brings together players by borrowing one important feature from other top cooperative games.
Back 4 Blood Developer Turtle Rock has released some big news about the game’s DLC content. This is sure to please the player.
In a blog post, the developers confirmed that players who don’t own the post-release content of the game can continue to play the game as long as someone who owns it invites them to the party. This means that as long as you are hosting the game, one person in the group should buy the DLC and the rest will enjoy it.
This applies not only to the map itself, but to any other gameplay content that will be provided to the game after its release.
Turtle Rock also revealed that in PvP, players who do not own PvP DLC content (such as new characters) can earn it by playing vs. mode. The developers also confirmed that to ensure fairness, all players, whether they own DLC or not, start from the same card pool at the start of a PvP match.
This is great for listening, especially for games that will be available on the Xbox Game Pass on the first day. You can definitely see a scenario where a group of friends assigns one of them to buy the DLC for the game and everyone can continue playing.
Back 4 Blood will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S on October 12th.
