Barcelona without Ansu Fati injured in Rayo Vallecano’s clash – Soccer Sports

Barcelona forward Ansu Fati was excluded from a collision on Wednesday with a knee injury between LaLiga and Layo Valecano.

Spain, who signed a new long-term contract at Camp Nou last week, were replaced 16 minutes after losing to Real Madrid in a match against Classico in Barca on Sunday.

Ronald Koeman revealed at a pre-match press conference prior to the meeting with Valecano that Fati was considered suspicious.

He had no pictures of traveling to Madrid with Barca’s team on Wednesday, and Riga tycoons confirmed that the youth played no role in Estadio de Vallecas.

A statement on the official Barcelona website states: “Ansu Fati has a pain in his right knee. He can’t choose and his recovery will determine his return.”

Fati suffered many setbacks along the way, returning from a 10-month layoff in a knee injury with a 3-0 victory over Barca’s Levante on September 26.

The teenage forward scored in the match and was featured five more times in all tournaments this season, with his only other goal playing against Valencia 10 days ago.

He scored 15 goals in 49 games for the Catalan Giants in all tournaments. This was only improved by Luis Suarez (21), Antoine Griezmann (35) and Messi (69). His debut 26 months ago.

Koeman also lacked forwards Ousmane Dembele and Martin Brightweight in the match against Valecano, and also injured Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo.

Barca played in the ninth match in Liga, returning 15 goals after the first nine matches, setting the lowest record since 11 goals scored in 2003-04 at this stage of the campaign.
