Battlefield 2042 video shows three launch maps

DICE has released a new video showing the three launch maps included in. Battlefield 2042..

The map you are looking at today is a renewal set in the Egyptian desert. A breakaway set in Antarctica. Waste on the west coast of India.

The map was created to enable both close-range and long-range combat, vehicle assault, and dynamic destruction in all-out, battlefield portal, and hazard zone modes.

Mode All Out Warfare accommodates Conquests and Breakthroughs, supports 128 players, and is present on seven maps at launch. The Battlefield Portal is similar to Halo Forge in that it includes a creation tool called Battlefield Builder, but Hazard Zone is a squad-based mode that supports 24 or 32 players, depending on the platform.

Below are the details of the three maps released today that will be available in these modes.

  • renewal Is an eclectic landscape in the Egyptian desert, with a solar array power plant on one side and a lush research facility on the other. It features a wall between both regions with different entry points, including a chokepoint that passes through the frequently contested entry checkpoints in Conquest in the center of the map. Players also need to prepare for close quarters battles in both these areas and the buildings within the renewal.
  • break awaySet in Antarctica, it has an offshore platform off the frozen coast and an Outlook station high on the battlefield, making it the center of aerial combat. On the cracked paths of the glacier, players fight in and on ice cliffs connected by ziplines and rope suspension bridges. The quick use of parachutes can make a difference between life and death.
  • destruction It features flooded villages, disassembled hulls and huge ships to explore along the west coast of India. This map contains many covers and close quarters combat. The colossal statue ship allows the player to fight onboard as the airship attacks from above and the tank hits the hull. Players need to stay on their toes, as tornado threats can hit the map at any time if the weather is unpredictable.

Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19th. Featuring an evolving multiplayer narrative, the specialist is a siege-like character with unique abilities, featuring on-the-fly weapon mods, and a roadmap for the first year already set.
