Bayonetta 3 is “on track” despite the lack of a show at E32021, Nintendo says

It’s been a while since we heard the big update for Bayonetta 3, but Nintendo has confirmed that the game is “going well” despite the lack of the E3 2021.

Talking to GameSpot, Nintendo’s Nate Bihldorff and Bill Trinn confirmed that the game was still in progress, and Trinn said the game was “going well.”

“We want to show things when we’re ready to show things, and certainly we want to show things when developers are ready to show things.” Added Trinen. “It wasn’t here at E3, but please wait for a while.”

Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch was announced at The Game Awards 2017, but the game has remained largely quiet since then. Earlier this year, game director Hideki Kamiya said he was “safe to expect” news about the 2021 game.

As Kotaku reported, Kamiya used Twitter to share complaints with people on the Internet asking if development had stopped or if the game was delayed due to lack of updates.

“I understand the reason why people say” Hurry up and publish information “or” Show me something “…” Kamiya I have written On Twitter. Reckless remarks such as “Did development stop?” Or “I think it’s late” are nothing but annoying public waste. ”
