As we said When it was first announcedIn Dreamscaper, you play as a young woman named Cassidy and divide the time between the awakening world and the disturbing dreams. The latter consists of a series of procedurally generated “dungeon” formed from Cassidy’s own experience and places she remembers visiting throughout her life.

You’ll need to fight monsters and bosses, find keys and bombs to open blocked walkways, solve puzzles, and learn new gear and skills to use. Execution ends when Cassidy’s health reaches zero. Instead of dying, she goes back to her bedroom and wakes up. From here, she steps into the awakening world. There, conversations with the people you meet and relationships with them enhance your ability to face nightmares when you fall asleep.
