Beck’s Hybrids expands service to the west

The acquisition of two new facilities will enable the country’s largest family-owned retail subsidiary to expand its services to farmers in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

According to Beck’s Hybrids, the 150-acre new site in Gener, Nebraska will provide western farmers with sales support, distribution, education and agricultural opportunities. 100 acres will be dedicated to Beck’s field testing of practical farm research. The facility will be partially operational in 2022 and will be completed in 2023.

Beck’s also acquired the Hartung Brothers facility in Coon Rapids, Iowa on January 1, 2022, after purchasing a soybean processing facility in Beeman, Iowa earlier this year, focusing on corn and soybean production, processing and distribution. Guess.
