After many delays, Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be released next month. However, it’s possible that a physical copy has already been published, so if you want to avoid spoilers before the release date, it’s a good idea not to look at the gameplay.
An image of the game’s sealed PS4 copy is available online, and Reddit’s poster claims to have been able to hold one in advance through work at Amazon. Box Art lists two Blu-ray discs, stickers, postcards, World Summary, game maps, and additional digital content. If you purchased the physical version of The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red also includes stickers and other merchandise in the standard version of the game, so these contents should look familiar.
However, you need to be careful about spoilers, as copies can leak into the wild, such as gameplay videos that are quickly deleted. We’ve learned a lot about the world of Cyberpunk 2077, including factions and the backstory of Johnny Silverhand, but there’s a lot we don’t know.
It’s getting harder and harder to wait for Cyberpunk 2077 to finally play because the game has gone through multiple delays. Originally scheduled for release in April, it was postponed to September and November, with the latest, perhaps final, December 10th date. You can learn more about Johnny himself in the Final Night City Wire presentation.
At launch, Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Stadia. It’s backward compatible with the Xbox Series X / S and PS5, and a full next-generation version will be available with a free upgrade at a later date.
