Telecom operator Bharti Airtel Ltd is in early talks to buy a majority stake in broadcast satellite service provider Dish TV India Ltd, financial newspaper Mint reported Thursday. I am quoting.

According to the report, Airtel executives have discussed the deal with Subhash Chandra, the founder of Essel Group, the parent of DishTV.
The accounting firm EY, which Airtel hired to inspect Dish TV’s finances, submitted a due diligence report to the telecommunications company on October 25, Mint said.
