A new Mass Effect game is under development with many years of developer participation. Developer BioWare confirmed the news as part of this year’s N7 Day.
In a BioWare blog post announcing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, a remaster of the first three games in the RPG game series, BioWare general administrator Casey Hudson cleverly describes a new adventure. “The veteran team has been enthusiastic about envisioning the next chapter in the Mass Effect universe,” says Hudson. “We are in the early stages of the project and we can’t say any more, but we look forward to sharing our vision for our next goal.”
The concept art displayed in the header will be shared to show the ships and crew on alien planets and more. The final Mass Effect game was well received at the 2017 Mass Effect: Andromeda. BioWare announced Anthem last year. This is a multiplayer action-adventure game that didn’t work very well and struggled to retain the viewer. Since then, the studio has spent most of the year renewing.
Hudson talks about his enthusiasm for Mass Effect and the community around it, and thank fans for their long-standing space games. “For me personally, Mass Effect represents years of work and countless special memories, so I’m very fortunate to celebrate N7 Day with players from all over the world every year for years. Thank you for supporting us. “
Meanwhile, BioWare is still working on Dragon Age 4, and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will be available in early 2021. Dragon Age.
