Black Adam: Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate costume is created using motion capture

In the upcoming Black Adam films of Warner Bros. and Newline, members of the Justice Society of America will appear on screen with Dwayne Johnson’s antiheroes, including Pierce Brosnan as a mysterious Doctor Fate. As production went smoothly, Brosnan provided insight into how his character would be realized on the screen, stating that he was wearing a motion-capture suit for that role. It was.

“I need to wear a motion capture suit. This is an acting challenge in itself,” Brosnan said in a People video (via). Black Adam News). “Fortunately I grew up in the theater so I know how to get into tights.”

Description of Doctor Fate

Motion capture technology is a fairly common tool in modern superhero movies. Many of the Marvel Cinematic Universe costumes, such as Spider-Man and Iron Man, are digitally created. There are still many practical outfits used in superhero movies, but the look of digital outfits may be suitable for characters with magical powers like Doctor Fate.

The Black Adam film will feature Doctor Fate as well as other members of Justice Society of America, including Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindel as Cyclone.

Black Adam is the next new line / DC filmmaker following Shazam in 2019! Johnson was originally scheduled to appear in Shazam! As a villain, but the project was reworked to give the star his own solo film. In other superhero costume news, director David F. Sandberg recently announced a costume worn by Shazam heroes! The wrath of the gods.

Black Adam has almost completed a major photo shoot. The movie will be shown in theaters on July 29, 2022.
