Bradley Hearing Decambal Label Changes May Come

Well-known Midwestern weed scientists have heard about the possibility of changing the label of Dicamba.

Dr. Kevin Bradley of the University of Missouri says he doesn’t know what changes will happen, but I’ve heard that they can happen soon.

“I have been told by many sources that the EPA may announce what additional relabeling the Dicamba product may make, perhaps early this week or early next week. “

In that case, Bradley says the industry needs to know as soon as possible.

“There may be significant changes affecting the way we do weed control in the already difficult weed control year coming in 2022 with all these shortages and everything else.”

Bradley says there was no difference in Dicamba’s drift injury complaints this year compared to last year.

“There are still a lot of untargeted Dicamba issues. They are no longer reported to the agricultural sector or all of them.”
