Call of Duty: The latest patch for Black Ops Cold War has arrived. The expensive change is a tweak to the speed at which you earn Weapon XP.
Throughout multiplayer and zombies, Treyarch has increased its weapon XP acquisition rate. Once the update is applied, players will be able to level up their weapons faster than before and unlock new gear and attachments at a faster pace.
This update also fixes XP-related issues in Zombie mode. Due to this issue, the game no longer pays enough XP for solo matches and subsequent rounds.
According to the studio, Treyarch will be offering “more” double XP events in December to thank the players for their patience in tackling these XP issues.
Finally, a new update fixes an out-of-range exploit in the newly released Nuketown ’84 multiplayer map. Below is the entire November 30 patch note posted by Treyarch on its website.
Black Ops Cold War November 30th Patch Note:
- Increased XP acquisition rates for both multiplayer and zombie weapons.
- Addressed an issue that caused lower weapon XP than the target in solo matches and subsequent rounds.
- Addressed an issue where the Weapon XP was not consistently awarded when the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod was equipped.
- Nuke Town ’84
- Filled out-of-range gaps that allow players to stay alive outside playable space.
