Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 Content Map Revealed

Treyarch has revealed everything that will come to Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War when the update ends on December 16th. The Season 1 update includes the integration of Cold War content into the free play Battle Royale Call of Duty. : Warzone was originally set to drop on December 10th, but the date has been shifted to December 16th to give the team “a few more days to complete everything” .. According to Treyarch, Season 1 is the largest free content drop in Black Ops history, including new multiplayer maps, new modes and playlists, new zombie modes, season challenges, seasonal prestige systems and more.

This update adds fan-friendly 6v6 modes and playlists to the game, and brings back 2v2 Gun Fight with four new maps. It also brings additional multiplayer maps to the fold, like Raid, a map set up in a vast mansion in the Hollywood hills from Call of Duty Black Ops II. A new fireteam map will also be added.

Free available weapons for the Gunsmith table will be added to the game with a new zombie mode, several new season challenges, and a full cross-title launch of the Season Prestige system featuring an ongoing 1000 season level.On the Warzone side, Treyarch is preparing to drop players on a new map.

“Battle Royale is set to go beyond Verdansk. Be prepared to drop into the new Warzone maps and modes at launch,” the blog post reads. “Warzone’s weapons are even bigger with over 30 Black Ops Cold Warbase weapons and Blueprint variations, and that you’re ready to confront your Warzone’s fellow prisoners in a new Gragg experience. please confirm.”

From December 12th to the release of Season 1, Treyarch will enable Double XP and Double Weapon XP in the Cold War to keep players waiting for updates. In the meantime, two free bundles, “Field Research” and “Certification”, will also be available. All you need to do is log in once to apply for them.
