Call of Duty earned $ 3 billion in 12 months

The Call of Duty series has set a new franchise record.

Following the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarThe Call of Duty franchise has exceeded $ 3 billion in net bookings in the last 12 months.

This number represents the performance metric for overall franchise engagement and premium game sales during the period.

Activision’s year-to-date growth included more than 80% net bookings and more than 40% sales year-over-year, with more than 200 million people playing Call of Duty this year.

On consoles and PCs, the franchise offered the most players in this year’s recorded history, and the largest November in history with monthly players and playtime.

Black Ops Cold War players will debut Season 1 this month and can expect free post-release content as a new season of content.

This includes community events, ongoing support, and integration with Warzone, which has more than 85 million players since its release. Warzone will soon be integrated with both Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare.
