Canadians leave two shots from the lead in the LPGAQ series – Golf News Now – GOLF Sports

Serena Costaville of Thornhill, Ontario was two strokes behind in fifth place Thailand after a two-round LPGA Q series in Mobile, Alabama.

Costaville, who played the crossing course at Magnolia Grove, finished second on Friday with three people under the age of 69. Costaville is 7ue in the first two rounds.

Maddie Szeryk of London, Ontario shot a par 71 evenly on the Falls Course, tying 17th with a 4-under.

LPGA Tour veteran Alena Sharp finished the day with 73 overs and 2s on the Falls course, finishing 72nd with 2 overs.

Calgary’s Jacqueline Lee shot 81 on the Falls Course and was tied in 106th place in the third round on Saturday.

The entire tournament will consist of eight rounds, four rounds on mobile this week and four rounds next week in Dothan, Alabama.

The first four rounds will end on Sunday, reducing 70 players and ties to determine who will advance to the final four rounds next week.

Those who do not advance will receive Symetra Tour status in 2022, with Top 45 and Thailand earning LPGA Tour status at the end of both weeks of play, and the rest earning Symetra Tour status.
