(Reuters)-Carl Icahn sold more than half of his stake Herbalife (NYSE :) Nutrition Ltd plans to abandon five seats on its board of directors for $ 600 million, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

Icahn, who had a 16% stake in Herbalife, recently sold back about 10% to the company, the newspaper reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
