CDL 2021: When will it start and which team will join?

The game is about to start (Photo: Activision)

This year’s Call of Duty League is about to begin and will differ significantly from last year in terms of rules, teams and in-game rewards.

The pandemic may still be in full swing, but you can’t participate directly in the Call Of Duty League, but it’s on schedule.

Twelve teams will be fighting in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but besides the game itself, there are some changes in how it works compared to last year.

Everything you need to know is here, as the team consists of 4 people instead of 5 and there are many changes in who will play in which team …

When and where can I see CDL 2021?

Call of Duty League 2021 begins on Thursday, February 11th and continues until Sunday, February 14th.

You can see the full schedule below or it will be updated daily Official site.

The first match will take place between the Minnesota Rockle and the Los Angeles thief and will begin at 8pm GMT, which is fairly British friendly.

To watch the match, simply visit YouTube’s Call Of Duty League channel.

If you follow these steps to link your account, you can also get in-game benefits such as exclusive emblems and weapon stickers when you watch.

What are the changes to the Call of Duty League 2021 rules?

Last year’s league used Modern Warfare, but this year we’re using the more recent Black Ops Cold War, implying different maps and weapons.
However, the mode played has also changed, with more search and discard and hardpoints, replacing control with controls.

Another big change is that all CDL matches will now be played on the PC instead of the console. However, competitors can only use the controller, not the mouse and keyboard.

Which team does CDL 2021 have?

You can see the list of teams below, but thanks to the highly skilled Ian’C6’Porter and the 2020 MVP Anthony’Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro, my favorite is the Dallas Empire.

Other top candidates include Atlanta FaZe, Optic Chicago and LA Thieves. The latter two are more accustomed to playing 4v4 than many other teams.
