The pandemic continues and doesn’t seem to end soon. So keeping a distance is still important. That probably means playing your board game in your loneliness.Well, if you are playing Arcadia Quest I wish you had solo rules and updates, you’re in luck. That’s what we have here.
Greetings, Arcadian! Guilherme Goulart and Fred Perret are pleased to announce Update 1.2 today. This update implements Solo Mode across Arcadia Quest: Inferno, Lotta Lava, Pets, and Tombs. Lots of new content has been added and some needs to be discussed. There is also rule development on how to determine the monster closest to the spawn token.
At the time of this update, the form had over 240 entries, providing valuable data for refining and adjusting solo mode. We look forward to working with you in the future. The clarification of the rules in Update 1.1 seems to have solved some questions, but I got the following two questions:
• “Can I complete the same PvE quest twice and associate both reward cards?”
• “The spawn tiles are almost full and kill many enemies during your turn. What should I do with the remaining figures after filling the spawn tiles?”
The basic rules of the game apply to both questions, following the new rules and solo mode philosophy of minimizing exceptions. Players can complete each quest only once (Inferno Rulebook pg. 26), kill monsters full of spawn tiles, and simply remove extra monsters from play (Inferno Rulebook pg. 24). Hope it clears it! This note has also been added to the 1.2 document.
