The Ultimate Fighting Championship has updated its COVID-19 policy prior to Saturday’s pay-per-view card.

Athletes and Corners participating in the vaccinated UFC 270 do not need to undergo any quarantine or testing other than pre-departure PCR or antigen testing. Vaccination proof will be required and the fighter and its team will be reimbursed for the test before arriving at the event.

The UFC 270 will take place on Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. According to the report, this policy has been approved by the California Physical Education Commission and is similar to the one used by Bellator MMA at recent events in the state.

Unvaccinated parties, on the other hand, will need to be retested on arrival and Thursday during Fight Week, unless they arrive after Thursday. In that case, you only need to test once. Quarantine is required until the first test returns negative. Masks are required for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status.

Most recently, on January 6, all fighters and corners were subject to the same test and quarantine policy, regardless of vaccination status.
