For the first time, two of Activision’s most popular franchises will be together. The publisher has announced a new crossover event, with Crash Bandicoot-themed gear appearing on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skaters 1 + 2.
On November 6th, a new bandicoot-themed gear will be introduced in the skateboarding game. Anyone who has already purchased a skateboarding game can get 13 new crash items in Create-A-Skater mode. This includes 9 shirts, 3 hats and 1 skateboard deck. You can see some of these in the image below.
November 6th also celebrates the launch of the Birdman Pack, which will benefit Tony Hawk’s The Skatepark Project charity. This was formerly known as the Tony Hawk Foundation. The DLC bundle comes with new Birdhouse and Powell-Peralta boards and a new TSP deck specially created for this campaign. A total of 10 items can be used in Create-A-Skater mode.
The bundle costs $ 5 and all proceeds go to the Skatepark project. This project will help build a public skate park for children. The charity drive will end on December 31, 2021 or when it reaches $ 500,000.
The November 6th update of Pro Skater 1 + 2 also introduces new challenges for multiplayer, Create-A-Park, and Combo Practice, where multiplayer playlists are jammed with “better randomization” in the park. Updated for competition mode scores.
Finally, a new feature called Solo Tour is added to Pro Skaters 1 + 2. “Players will now be able to play Tour Mode on individual skaters to get the most out of the statistics of each of their favorite pros. At the start of each solo tour, all goals and medals will be reset, but now Tour mode shifts to crew tours, so you won’t lose your previous progress, “says Activision.
