Cruella 2: Emma Stone signs a new deal to replay her role as Disney’s fashionable villain

Emma Stone will once again star in Cruella 2 as Disney’s most fashionable villain.

The deadline reports that Disney has signed a deal with Stone to replay her role as Cruella de Vil in the sequel. Her New Deal follows Cruella’s successful debut at the theater at the same time through the Disney Plus Premier Access service.

In a Cruella review, Stone wrote that he plays a woman who “finds her inner diva” in the movie “Hell of Fun Time.” That positive evaluation was the happy ending of the movie, which initially faced skepticism and ridicule when the first trailer was released.

As Disney is working on a sequel, the main question is where the series will take Cruella next. Is this the point where she starts peeling poor puppies and turning them into coats? We will see.

If not, Cruella 2 is still in its infancy. We know that director Craig Gillespie and writer Tony McNamara are back, but little else is known about the plot.

Disney + Spotlight: August 2021

In the meantime, Disney is trying to find a balance between publishing a movie in theaters and Disney Plus. In yesterday’s earnings announcement, Disney CEO Bob Chapek called the window an “interesting experiment” with the next 45-day theater exclusivity of Xiangqi and the Legend of the Ten Ring.
