CS: GO Operation Broken Fang Live

Gaben Claus presented the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community with an early Christmas gift. Operation Broken Fang has been released with new maps, features and cosmetics.

If you’re new to operations, CS: GO will drop seasonal content and offer new ones for free, but it also comes with a paid Premier Pass option to unlock exclusive benefits.

One of the main highlights of Broken Fang is a new game mode called Retakes. This is free for everyone. Three Ts defend against the bombs planted against four CTs, but to keep things fresh, everyone needs to choose a loadout card at the beginning of each round. Sounds like a real, solid and easygoing game mode for when you need to get away from the competitive grind and relax with your peers.

Seven new maps have also arrived, including a brand new competitive arena called Ancient, set in the ruins of several temples. There are also five new community maps with everything from the Space Travel Museum to the snow-covered ski resorts. As always, the community has made maps look quirky and colorful, as opposed to fairly monotonous and competitive maps.

A chat wheel icon has also been added. This allows you to ping and communicate quickly with your teammates without using a microphone. As a heavy user of ping systems like Warzone and Apex Legends, I’m a big fan of this.

Those who fork £ 11 on the Broken Fang Premier Pass will have access to a new stats tracker with lots of flashy graphs and numbers. They also get exclusive weekly missions that reward them with stars, which then upgrade broken fang coins and unlock some new agents, stickers, crates and more. Can be poured for.

As an expired CS: GO mouse swipe, I think it might be enough to go back to one or two games in the new Retakes game mode, but I can’t see it stuck for much longer. Many of these additions are for current players who want more reasons to disengage nuts and earn cosmetics.

Operation Broken Fang will run until April 30, 2021. Information on all Operation products can be found on the official website.
