Cyberpunk 2077 Dev reminds fans that 100% of their sales go to the studio when purchased on GOG

CD Projekt Red’s long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 is a big week for the game as it will finally be released on December 10th after years of development and multiple delays.

Games can be purchased at various stores, so you may be wondering where to get them. If you’re looking for a PC version, CD Projekt Red reminded fans that when they buy from their digital store, GOG, developers receive 100% of their sales.

On other platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, CD Projekt Red accounts for about 70% of sales due to the platform fees associated with each platform.

This is an estimate based on historical data. The 70/30 revenue sharing model is common throughout the game, although the placement of CDPRs may vary.

Another bonus to buy from GOG is that everyone who pre-orders by December 10th will receive a code from the Merchandise Store to receive 30% off official CDPR gear. However, this discount code only works for orders in the EU, US, and Canada.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10th for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PS4 and Xbox One. The game DLC will be announced after the release.

In addition, a standalone Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer game will be available at a later date with the next generation of single player games.
