Cyberpunk 2077 developers are asking players not to stream before the official release

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here, with a release date set for December 10, and some players are expected to get the game early. Information may be disclosed prior to launch between early-shipped copies, retail mistakes, and press / influencer copies. The developer, CD Projekt Red, asks anyone who has a copy to refrain from streaming.

In a tweet from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, developers are asking people not to stream the game before it’s released, warning those who do it that the action will be taken in their own way. I am.

“Please do not stream / play or release similar content by 12:00 pm (Central European Standard Time) / 3:00 am (Pacific Standard Time) on December 9th,” the post says. Otherwise, they jokingly, the in-game organization MAX-TAC will be sent after you (that is, they will probably take action to delete the video or end the stream).

You can read their full statement below.

Of course, one of the core tenants of cyberpunk aesthetics is the rejection of authorities and the rebellion against their power. But if you break this rule and try to make it, CD Projekt Red probably won’t listen to the argument. ..

Cyberpunk 2077 has cool photography options that allow you to create the content you want to share. The game will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and backward compatibility will allow it to be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. A true next generation version of the game will come later.

DLC will also appear in the game, but will not be released until after its release.
