“After a recent delay, we decided to wait.”
CD Projekt Red, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, will no longer elaborate on future enhancements to the game before its launch.
We were planning to hear how and when Cyberpunk 2077 will evolve after its release, but CD Projekt will postpone discussing post-launch plans until the first quarter of next year.
It’s probably a wise move given the ongoing delay in the release of the main game. The gamebox has already appeared prior to its launch on December 10, but the game is still under development as the studio crunch becomes more talked about.
“The original plan was [reveal expansions] Before the release, but after a recent delay, we decided to wait for the release to bring the game to gamers before we start talking about future projects, “co-CEO Adam Kiciński said on a financial call last night. Said (transcribed by Seeking Alpha).
I didn’t expect to see the mysterious multiplayer component of Cyberpunk 2077 for a while, but I need to know more about it in the first quarter of next year.
“We haven’t announced anything about multiplayer so far. In fact, that’s not the case at this point, which means it’s not the moment to talk about the multiplayer business model,” Kiciński continues. “Once we update our strategy, we’ll share our thoughts on next year. It will happen in the first quarter of next year. This is after the release of cyberpunk, deeper or all the important things about future releases. It’s a great opportunity to discuss aspects.
But my favorite phone was when someone apparently felt a little hungry and signed off hoping for the best of the studio. And now I’m hungry too.
