Cyberpunk 2077 Skippy Location

To begin your journey with the legendary Smart Gun known as Skippy, you need to head to a specific Spot of Interest on the Cyberpunk 2077 map. Can you see the border between Haywood and Santo Domingo? The two districts are connected by a pair of bridges in the center. There is an unexplored place at the starting point (Haywood side) of the lower bridge. Skippy lives there.

If you don’t know where to go to find Skippy’s location, take a look at the map below:

After tracking this location, you will be guided to the correct point in the game. This is a small alley where the corpse is hidden. The briefcase is open on the floor next to the body, with Skippy inside. Pick it up and the fun begins.

Pacifist mode that loves stone cold killer or puppies?

After a little chat with the newly found gun, Skippy asks you to choose a gun setting: a stone cold killer, or a pacifist who loves puppies. But which one should I choose?

First of all: Skippy is a smart weapon. That is, it guides the bullet. The choices you make relate to which body part of the target enemy you want your shot to go home to:

  • Stone Cold Killer: All shots are headshots (and therefore deadly).
  • Pacifist who loves puppies: All shots are leg shots (and therefore non-lethal).

But don’t choose Stone Cold Killer! There is a hidden catch that Skippy doesn’t tell you, and it takes effect after killing 50 enemies with Skippy.

  • If you choose Stone cold killerThen, after 50 kills, Skippy is permanently locked into pacifist mode, which loves puppies, and there is nothing he can do to stop it.
  • If you choose Pacifist who loves puppiesAfter 50 “kills”, Skippy asks why he chose this option.
    • If you select the “Wrong Killing” dialog option, Skippy will continue to be a puppy-loving pacifist forever.
    • If you select any other option, Skippy will flip and lock permanently to Stone Cold Killer mode.

So if you want Skippy’s headshot-only mode to last longer than the first 50 kills, first choose a pacifist who loves puppies, and then when Skippy talks to you, other than “killing is wrong” You need to choose the option of the first 50 downed enemies.

Skippy Quest (Machine Gun): Do you want to keep or sell Skippy?

No matter what happens before or after the first 50 kills, after a while, Skippy will talk to you again and pick up the topic of the previous owner. This will start the machine gun, which is Skippy’s side quest.

The quest is very easy. The original owner of the gun turned out to be none other than Regina. This is a fixer with an eyepatch that tells a lot about cyberpsycho. Present Skippy to her and you will be prompted to make a choice. Sell Skippy to Regina for about 7,000 euros, or store Skippy yourself and leave.

Needless to say, if you’re stuck with a pacifist version that loves Skippy’s puppies, it’s a good idea to consider selling it to Regina. However, Skippy in Stone Cold Killer mode is a terrifyingly powerful gun and, in fact, one of the most powerful guns in the game. Therefore, if you play the card immediately and Skippy is stuck in Stone Cold Killer mode, it’s worth holding. It can also be used as a secondary or primary weapon, depending on your choice of Cyberpunk 2077 build.

Can I upgrade Skippy?

You can’t upgrade Skippy in the traditional sense of using components to upgrade Cyberpunk 2077 weapons. However, Skippy automatically scales to V levels, increasing damage as you level up, preventing your gun from becoming obsolete.

You can also attach up to two mods to Skippy to enhance its functionality. If you’re using Skippy in Stone Cold Killer mode, it’s a good idea to install two mods that increase headshot damage. This is just a massive damage boost, as all Skippy shots are headshots.

And that’s the way you can get Skippy, and you can keep your mouth pistol indefinitely as you like. You can also find a guide on how to get and use the powerful Cyberpunk 2077 Mantis Blades and Cyberpunk 2077 Gorilla Arms cyberware while you are here.
