DeMarcus Ware, Robert Mathis, 10 First Year Candidates for Pro Football Hall of Fame – NFL Sports

Ohio Canton-There are 10 first-year qualified players, including outstanding defensive DeMarcus Ware and Robert Mathis, and receivers Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, and Anquan Boldin. 122 candidates for 2022 class Of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Another first year qualification is Kickoff Returner Devin Hester. Offensive lineman Jake Long and Nick Mangold. Defensive lineman Vince Wilfork and defensive back Antonio Cromartie.

The list will be reduced to 25 semi-finalists in November and 15 finalists in January before the selection committee discusses and selects the 2022 class enshrined in August.

The candidate list consists of 65 offensive players, 46 defensive players, and 11 special team members.

The 2021 finalists nominated next year are wide receivers Reggie Wayne and Toryholt. Work on Tony Bosseri. Defensive End Jared Allen; Defensive Harness Richard Seymour; Linebackers Sam Mills and Zach Thomas. Ronde Barber and Leroy Butler’s defensive back.

The receiver’s cliff branch was recently selected as a senior finalist. The finalist of the contributor is Art McNally, a former referee and league secretary. The coach’s finalist is Dick Vermeil, who won the Super Bowl at Rams in 2000.
