Diesel drops 0.2 ¢ on the 7th consecutive decline

The national average price of diesel fell by two-tenth cents to $ 3.613 a gallon, according to data released by the Energy Information Agency on January 3.

• Truck’s main fuel fell 12.1 cents for the seventh straight week from $ 3.734 on November 15.

• One gallon of diesel is 97.3 cents higher than at this point in 2021.

• Of the 10 regions in the EIA’s weekly survey, diesel decreased in 6 and increased in 4. The largest decrease was 1.7 in the Rocky Mountains region. The largest profit was two-tenth cents (Central Atlantic, Lower Atlantic, East Coast).

• Gasoline, on the other hand, reversed the course and recorded a six-tenth rise to $ 3.281 a week after recording a two-cent decline.
