The national average price of a gallon of diesel rose 4.4 cents to $ 3.186 per gallon, according to data released on May 10 by the Energy Information Agency.
- Diesel rose 6.2 cents two weeks later, after staying unchanged at $ 3.124 on April 26.
- The main fuel costs for a one-gallon truck are on average 79.2 cents higher than they are in 2020.
- In a weekly EIA survey, diesel costs increased in all 10 regions, with 5.7 cents highest in the Rocky Mountains and 2.5 cents in California.
- Gasoline prices have risen sharply, rising 7.1 cents to $ 2.961 a gallon. That’s currently $ 1.11 over a year ago.
