The Dodgers and Giants always offer some drama every time the two teams meet. And the drama wasn’t as intense as it used to be in recent seasons, but it’s always fun.
The only drama that appeared in the game on Thursday night was short. Former Dodgers pitcher Alex Wood stood on the mound and Max Muncy entered the 0-2 hole very quickly. It promoted quick marketing from wood Max immediately waved to the referee. He took a time-out before the pitch, but Wood seemed very dissatisfied with it.
The two former Dodgers teammates went back and forth to make a second joke with each other, but nothing else happened. Muncie grounds out on the next pitch and finishes the inning. Muncie then explained the encounter to the media and downplayed it.
It’s just part of Woody’s game. He has a very quick delivery and it helps to make him really effective. He has a really good one and is doing it on it. Because the dishes weren’t ready , It was a little exchange with time. I don’t know if you saw my smile, but when I was talking to Kurt’s catcher, it was mostly woody. He made me excited and enjoyed.
Muncie finally took the final laugh and deepened Wood in the sixth inning to give the Dodgers a lead. So the good news is that there is no lost love between the two ex-teammates. Wood is supposed to get the World Series ring at some point in the series, but there’s no word for when.
The Dodgers will play three more games in Los Angeles this weekend against the National League West. The Padres will play three games at the Astros over the weekend, so rankings could change significantly by Sunday.
