All-in-one simple integration
The newly developed product family provides an innovative all-in-one solution that efficiently charges the PTO for operating work equipment, regardless of the architecture used in the drive. The advantage is a significantly reduced noise-free operation with no local emissions, which makes it easier to use, especially in urban and residential areas.
At the core of the system is the ZFeCub E, which provides a link between the vehicle battery and the modular electric ZFePTO. eCubE includes the appropriate power electronics, control units, and software packages for your specific application. The seamless connection of the vehicle to the CAN bus integrates the eWorX solution into the vehicle’s battery and energy management system. New safety and assistive features are possible as well as the option to control the machine from outside the cab via a smartphone or tablet.
Test the vehicle with customer interest from the beginning
ZF has produced an electrically powered, remotely controllable dump truck for experiments that can operate independently of the tractor. The prototype is currently undergoing intensive testing under real conditions at the ZF Schweinfurt site. In collaboration with various body makers, more vehicles with electrically assisted drive solutions are already under construction. Extensive real-world testing of these prototypes is also performed by the manufacturers involved.
