Wheelchairs are now available as CAMP decorations in Fallout 76 after Bethesda employees find a request in the game’s subreddit.
In a message titled “Please give me a sweet Beth, please give me a wheelchair,” Kel Lünen contacted the development team and said: I’m very happy that my work contains that small piece. And I think many other people will enjoy it too (probably for when recreating a hospital / wheelchair). “

After going back and forth as usual in the comments, Kell later updated the message saying: I’m looking for a chair that can be placed in the camp to invalidate the character. There are already many chair models.
“Proctor Ingram is disabled. She travels with power armor. Mama Murphy was supposed to be disabled, but it wasn’t disabled due to engine limitations. Handicapped people helped. Not without. Sometimes our wisdom is enough. “
A month after Ladydevann said “submit this request to the team,” Kel shared the latest CAMP acquisition on Twitter (thanks, alt / char).
“I posted it a month ago. Thank you. Please shed tears,” Kell wrote.
In related news, Fallout 76’s long-awaited SteelDawn update introduced the Brotherhood of Steel faction to Appalachia and was originally scheduled for release on December 1st. However, this update was pushed a bit early for Xbox players, and Bethesda wanted to roll it back, but eventually decided to release it early for players on all platforms.
“We quickly investigated how to get the Xbox player back into the game as soon as possible, but through discussions we were confident that the entire BGS team was ready for SteelDawn,” Bethesda said at the time. “As a result, instead of rolling back the update and making everyone wait another week, we decided to release the Steel Dawn Update on all platforms.”
