Fans “want to save Daredevil” as the character’s rights return to Marvel Studios

Last weekend, on November 29th, Netflix officially transferred Daredevil rights to Marvel, reigniting the #SaveDaredevil campaign, which fans have started intermittently since the series was canceled in 2018. When Daredevil was dismissed in November 2018, Netflix transactions were set to retain rights for up to two years after the streamer was canceled. Now your character’s rights are back to Marvel Studios and Daredevil is free to join or actually rejoin the MCU.

#SaveDaredevil was trading again this weekend due to the enthusiasm of the fans. And fans who especially want Charlie Cox to continue playing Matt Murdoch, as well as getting the character back into Marvel’s hands, will replay their role alongside the other actors in the series.Daredevil star Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk, and SHIELD star Clark Gregg’s MCU / Agent also participated in the online Save Daredevil campaign.

D’Onofrio also recently asked fans to save the series in full Netflix-y cast and tone format as of last week and sign a petition that would basically transfer it to Disney-owned platforms. It was. Donofrio also seems to be aware that the third MCU Spider-Man movie includes Kingpin’s opportunity …

There are many things to consider when it comes to “preserving” the series. It’s great to bring Daredevil back as a show and continue where the story breaks, but it’s strange that Disney has essentially only half of the series. just now.. The first three seasons will be watched on Netflix, so if you want to watch it for the first time or re-watch it from the beginning, you’ll have to go to a big streaming competitor.

Of course, Marvel May Eventually regain the first three seasons of the show so that other Netflix-saved shows (such as The Killing and The Fall) will eventually leave the platform. Perhaps if this happens, Daredevil can live in Hulu (given its edgy tone). But again, in the last few years we’ve seen many of Marvel’s Hulu shows die from vines-from runaway to the infamous Healthtrom to the never-ending Ghost Rider series (oh, And the New Warriors show).

Perhaps it’s best for actors to replay their role in supportive capabilities, in MCU movies, or in one of many upcoming MCU Disney + shows, if any.
