Do you have any tips or suggestions? Be sure to drop it in the comment so that others can use it. Enjoy your new Xbox.

TV and A / V power options

If you want to turn on your Xbox TV when you turn on your Xbox, you have that setting. You can also turn off your TV. Go to settings and[一般]In the menu[一般]Choose Power mode and boot. Of course, you can change other power settings here, but I’m looking for another menu within this option set.

In the power mode menu, scroll down one and TV & A / V power supply option.

Select HDMI-CEC to allow your Xbox Series X or Series S to interact with your TV’s power options. You will need to restart the console after enabling this.

Digital assistant voice command

If you’ve already forgotten to say “Xbox, on” to power on your Xbox in Kinect, you can do that with Digital Assistant. You can also issue other commands.

[設定]Scrolls to the 4th menu. Connect with device..Then you will see the options Digital assistant.

If you choose to enable the Digital Assistant, you must continue with the setup using the respective Digital Assistant app. The settings menu shows the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa options.

Here are some of the commands you can try with the Google Assistant:

  • Hey google, play [game name] On Xbox
  • Google, please turn Xbox on / off
  • Google, please pause / resume on Xbox
  • Hey Google, mute Xbox
  • Hey Google, record it on Xbox
  • Google, take a screenshot on your Xbox

If your Xbox device name isn’t “Xbox,” you’ll need to specify the device name instead of “Xbox” in these commands.

And some commands you can use with Alexa’s Xbox skills:

  • Alexa tells Xbox to turn on / off
  • Alexa tells Xbox to pause / resume
  • Alexa tells Xbox to turn the volume up and down
  • Alexa tells Xbox to launch [game name]
  • Alexa tells Xbox to launch [media app name]
  • Alexa asks Xbox what to say

Customize the home menu

On the home screen[表示]Press the button (two window buttons) to customize. It takes you to Customize your home A menu that allows you to sort or permanently delete what is already displayed on the screen. If you choose to add something, you can add apps based on suggestions, games, groups, and even specific friends.

But that’s not all you need to change in this menu. As shown in the photo on the right You can change the system theme Adjust how motion works on the home screen (the description specifically states “make motion more fluid while exploring the house”).

At the time of launch, there are three themes. Dark (system default), bright (bright as expected!), And scheduled. This allows the system to switch between the two based on the time of sunrise and sunset. The set time.

Back to Customize your home In the menu[マイカラーと背景]You can select to change some defaults, such as tile transparency. You can also set the background to achievement art, gar art, colors, custom images, screenshots, and even play a dynamic background. The dynamic background looks like this and has a soft movement.

The color is determined by the color you select in your personalization settings.

If you need High contrast, With accessibility settings, Customize your home menu.[設定]Also has additional easy-to-use options.

Change the guide

When you press the Xbox button on your controller, you’ll see something called a guide. You can change the order of the information displayed. To do this quickly, press the Xbox button to open the guide menu, go to your profile icon Profile and system menu..

select Customize the guide Display the customize screen with this menu. Unlike the home menu, you can’t remove tabs, but you can move them to any order you like.

If you want to share many screenshots[キャプチャして共有]Consider moving the menu to the second.Or, if you play often with friends, it’s in front of the guide[人]Tabs may be more suitable.

Capture and share settings

By default, Xbox uses the following capture settings (although they may differ if you transfer your Xbox One settings):

  • Allow game capture: Captured by me or the game
  • Record what happened: 45 seconds
  • Upload automatically: Captured by me
  • Game clip resolution: 1080p SDR
  • Capture location:internal

To change these, open the settings. Then go to Environmental setting, The fifth option in the list. next, Capture and share..

Customize all capture settings here. For example, set the “Record what happened” setting from the last 15 seconds to 1 minute with a 1080p setting. This changes when you increase the resolution to 4K. Clips of that resolution can only be captured in up to 30 seconds and posted to Xbox Live at a lower resolution.

However, 4K screenshots can be viewed in full resolution. According to the guide, preparing a 4K clip takes “about 1 minute per clip”.

Assign controller

If you plan to share your Xbox with multiple people and have your own controller, it’s a good idea to consider assigning that controller to your profile. This will cause you to sign in to your profile each time that particular controller is connected to your Xbox.

This can be done in several places, but one of the fastest is[設定]It is a menu.[設定]Open and[アカウント]Go to the menu. Then open Sign-in, security, passkey.. From here you can choose to change the “This controller signs in” option, but make sure you are using the controller you are linking to.

Check your display settings

Before jumping into a new game, double-check your TV settings to make sure your game looks great.[設定]of[一般]In the menu,[TV and display options.. If you change the display options on your Xbox One X, this menu should be familiar to you.

These need to be adjusted automatically, but it’s worth checking just in case. If your game doesn’t look as expected, check out the 4K TV details page. If your screen looks like this, you may have a problem.

Keep in mind that you must use an HDMI 2.1 cable and a device compatible with HDMI 2.1 for 4K UHD 120hz.

You can also customize additional video settings in this menu. If for some reason you don’t need 4K UHD, you can select a specific video mode and change it here.
