Fans can peek at what’s likely Fortnite’s special New Year’s Eve event starting in 2021.

Fortnite’s Christmas-themed Operation Snowdown event is still underway (in fact, it won’t end until January 5th), but players can also start preparing for the upcoming New Year’s Eve event.

No official announcement from Epic Games yet, but some details about the event have already been leaked online.

According to the in-game footage provided by the regular Fortnite leaker IntheShade, this year’s event looks basically the same as last time.

At midnight on New Year’s Eve, a large rift opens in the night sky and countless fireworks are launched.

Simple and appropriate, but the content of the video can always be an early or incomplete version of the event, and Epic has some more intended plans to make the event feel more special. there is.

At the very least, players can dress up as one of the many crossover characters recently added to Fortnite, including The Mandalorian, Master Chief, and Black Panther, to make the New Year sound stylish.

For Fortnite Crew members, Epic reviewed the contents of the January Crew exclusive pack, specifically the Green Arrow skin, based on their appearance on a live-action Arrow TV show.

Fortnite Crew members will receive their packs on December 31st at 7pm (Eastern Standard Time) / 4pm (Eastern Standard Time) and January 1st at Greenwich Mean Time at 12:00 AM.

Fortnite is available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
