Epic announced that Galactus will land on Fortnite on December 1st.
Marvel’s Supervillain will arrive at Battle Royale as part of a one-off Nexus War Finale event on Tuesday, December 1st at 4pm (UK time).
Epic has suggested allowing players to log in to Fortnite to view the event at least an hour before the event begins. The event playlist will be published 30 minutes before the start time.
The arrival of Galactus marks the end of Chapter 2, Season 4. So what can players expect? Fans are hoping that Galactus will destroy the current map and cause downtime, similar to last year’s black hole event. And Season 5 is then set to start with a significantly modified map.
Will Fortnite’s love affair with Marvel end? In October, Fortnite boss Donald Mustard discussed plans for the next few years of the game story. This story continues to be incorporated into the elements of the Marvel Universe.
“The reason we call this season Nexus War is that it’s just the beginning of many of the things we’ve planned for years of Marvel integration,” Mustard said in this week’s official Marvel podcast.
“This is the beginning, not the end. I thought it was a really good POV style character that could set this. [earlier this year] It was a deadpool, a kind of destruction of the fourth wall. And the caps for July will be piled up until this moment … “
According to Mustard, last year’s black hole event triggered the arrival of Galactus.
“We spent this moment at Fortnite. It happened about a year ago … Zero Point reorganized all the issues around the island and created this new island.” Mustard continued.
“That is the moment that attracted Galactus. [He] Feeling this reorganization of reality, he said, “Well, if you have this energy source at the center of everything and can consume it, you can consume everything, not just Marvel’s reality.” “”
Galactus doesn’t sound very good, right?
