Giancarlo Esposito explains why Moffgideon’s armor resembles Darth Vader’s armor

At the end of The Mandalorian Chapter 12, Imperial Officer Moffgideon (played by the venerable Giancarlo Esposito) observes a group of black armored soldiers. These ominous-looking soldiers, known as Dark Troopers, were first seen in the 1994 PC game Star Wars: Dark Forces. Check out the Dark Trooper description here for a complete overview of these new enemies.But as intimidating as these dark troopers appear, Moffgideon also wears some intimidating armor of his own that looks very much. Vader style.. told Episito why his character is dressed differently than the other Moffs he’s seen before. “I think it’s a return to this guy,” Esposito told . “That is, it really has something to do with me. In my brain, I like to think and imagine that he has the power that Darth Vader had. He’s a warrior It tells me he’s a soldier and has the skills to back it up and hopefully you’ll see it in us soon [upcoming] episode. ”

Over the past few years, Esposito has become synonymous with playing iconic villains such as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul’s Gustavo Fling and Anton’s next portrayal of Far Cry 6. Played before. “Gustavo Fling was silent. Moff Gideon wasn’t the man,” Esposito told . “He will speak out and say what he needs to say. He will offend people. It will make me think.
