Can Back 4 Blood blow a huge bubble around a zombie and then pop it down? I doubt it. Therefore, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends seems like a great game.
The revival of Taito’s 2019 classic arcade series is now a leap forward for the PC. It has been renamed to “Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron’s Workshop” and includes a level editor, which will be released on Steam sometime this summer.
WARNING: Bubble Bobble’s theme music is a worse curse than a bile-spitting horde of undeaths.
For those of you who don’t know, Bubble Bobble is a series of 2D single-screen platformers where dragons Bub and Bob fly around and blow bubbles around the bully to pop. You also have to collect fruits and compete to beat the timer. I played the original on the Commodore 64 about 48 million years ago and have been humming the theme song ever since.
Bubble Bobble 4 Friends doesn’t change much about the central formula, making the bar 3D and supporting four players. (Players 3 and 4 are called Peb and Pab, if I’m wondering.) It was originally released on Switch and PS4, and the PC version includes post-release updates. .. In the new level editor.
The game will start this summer Via Steam The cost is £ 31/$ 40/40. Now, Taito, what about the new Rainbow Islands sequel?
