Google extends shopping integration to include BigCommerce

Google has rolled out an integration with its company, BigCommerce Presentation Thursday. Similar to integration with Google Shopify, WooCommerce, GoDaddy, SquareAnnounced earlier this year, the partnership will allow BigCommerce sellers to view their products for free on Google, create advertising campaigns, and view BigCommerce store performance metrics.

Why we care

The new integration will give BigCommerce retailers an easy way to make listings easier to find across Google properties. This allows you to increase traffic to your products. This can be especially useful for merchants who are unable or unable to dedicate additional staff or with the help of an agency.

For Google, all these integrations could mean an increase in the list of products that users can see. This strengthens Google as a shopping destination and helps it compete with other e-commerce platforms. If Google can create value for merchants through these integrations, merchants may tend to try out platform advertising tools. This is also good for Google.
